From the very moment we conceived the project, we were fully aware that we had to join forces with those organizations and initiatives aligned with our values. We immediately realized that Ginetex was one of those organizations, and Clever Care was the initiative that we should support, promoting intelligent care of clothes and saving time and money.
Both Wawaland Planet and Ginetex want to deliver critical messages to the population and to our clients, in particular, such as follows:

Don’t wash your clothes too often. Remove stains manually, and air the clothes to freshen up after each use. By reducing the number of times you wash your garments you can actively help to reduce your carbon footprint.

Lower the temperature when machine washing. Dropping 60°C to 30°C, or warm to cold, saves half the energy. Most detergents and modern washing machines clean your laundry just as well in lower temperatures.

Natural drying is energy free. By hang drying your laundry you save energy, and your clothes will stay in shape and even last longer too.

Think of ironing only when necessary. Remove clothes from the washing machine and hang dry them as soon as the wash cycle has finished minimizing creasing.

Professional cleaning – when recommended – is crucial to maintain the quality of your product and can extend its lifespan, but please make sure that your professional cleaner contributes to sustainability and environmental protection using the right products.
